PRICES

All prices are FOB San Jose, CA and are subject to change. Quotations on larger quantities are available upon request. Prices in this catalog are effective January 1, 1995.

PLATE CHARGES:

Plate charges are included on all orders.

ART CHARGES:

There are NO art charges if camera-ready artwork is supplied. Camera-ready artwork is a layout with or without color overlays in which artwork (logos and copy) is complete, in the exact position required. It can be supplied at up to 200% of the original size.
Photocopies, hand-sketches, and other imprinted products are not considered camera-ready artwork.
When camera-ready artwork is not provided the following art charges apply:

Simple typesetting Halftone screens (black and white photos) Color separations from color photos or transparencies Minor retouching of art from business cards, letterheads, drawings, faxes, decals, etc. Custom artwork

REVERSE:

Add 5% to total cost (minimum $18/color) for reverse imprint.

COATED STOCK:

We recommend coated paper stock for half-tones and exact color matches - add 10% to total cost.

FULL COLOR IMPRINTS:

Call factory for quote(s); we can work from your diskette or cartridge.

PROOFS:

Proof prices listed below do not include art charges or separations. The following types of proof are available:

Black and white paper proof/ fax Color Key (4 color proof) Product proof

COPY OR COLOR CHANGES:

For changes in copy or color, add $20 per change. Must be equal quantities per change, minimum 100 pieces. Call for quote if more than one element changes.

CO-OP PRICING:

Call or write for quotations.

LESS THAN MINIMUM:

Call for quote.

LAYOUT:

The factory will layout copy to best fit image area unless camera-ready artwork is provided. If proofs are required, see above charges.

PRODUCTION TIME:

Normal production time is 6 working days from receipt of an order with camera-ready artwork. Add an additional day for typesetting or each additional color.

REPEAT ORDERS:

Artwork is kept on file for 3 years from the last order date. To help locate plates on file, please furnish the previous invoice, art, or job number.

DUPLICATING ORDERS:

There are no plate charges if a product from another factory is submitted for exact duplicating. However, artwork charges may be incurred depending on the design and layout.

OVER AND UNDER-RUNS:

Due to the nature of manufacturing, it is not always possible to produce the exact number of items ordered. Therefore, all orders are subject to a 10% over or under-run and will be shipped and charged accordingly.

TRADEMARKS AND COPYRIGHTS:

The customer accepts full responsibility for claims or litigation arising from alleged infringements of trademarks or copyrights on any requested designs or copy.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:

All new orders will be acknowledged in writing. Please advise the factory immediately of any errors. All orders will be processed exactly as acknowledged. Reorders will not be acknowledged unless requested.

RETURN OF GOODS POLICY:

Merchandise may not be returned without prior authorization. All return of goods authorization requests must be made within 5 days.

CANCELLATION CHARGES:

Charges are determined by the amount of work completed at the time of cancellation. Minimum charge is $25.

WARRANTY:

Products made by Button King will be replaced if defective in materials, manufacturing, or printing. Except for such replacements, the manufacture, printing, sale, or subsequent handling of these products is without warranty or liability, even if such defects, damage, or loss is caused by negligence or other fault.
